Nature Trail

PXL_20220523_121932765_edited.jpg

The Nature Trail in Doddington Wood is designed with young families in mind and came about thanks to two very generous grants from Cramlington Town Council, and the National Lottery Community Fund.

The trail is a free permanent fixture, made up of five solid oak posts with rubbing illustrations. Each post links to a page on the website, where you'll find information about the plants and animals that call the wood their home.

There is also a free trail map which you can download and use to follow the trail points as you explore the wood.

If you visit the trail please remember to join our Facebook group - The Friends of Doddington Wood - and let us know what you thought of it.

You can download the Doddington Wood Nature Trail map here, available as a .pdf or .jpeg image, as well as the activity sheet to go along with the trail. They are completely free, and can used as many times as you need to.
