Northumbria in Bloom

As part of Cramlington's entry into the Northumbria in Bloom competition in 2023, the Friends of Doddington Wood were able to meet with the competition judges to share the story of the woodland, what the group and it's volunteers have achieved since it first began and its plans for the future. Cramlington was award the best overall entry in the 2023 competition, securing its entry into the national Britain in Bloom competition for 2024. As part of its success the Friends of Doddington Wood were asked present a talk at the 2024 Northumbria in Bloom opening ceremony, to showcase the group and its achievements.
